Bauer Nexus 400 Composite Stick
Powerful shots and durability come hand in hand with the Nexus 400 Composite Stick.The mid kick flex allows you to fire shots at the net with ease. The top of the shaft is softer and allows you to bend the stick more upon impact. The stiffer bottom portion of the shaft keeps the Nexus 400 durable and able to withstand any impact from the normal rigors of the game. The shaft's square double concave dimensions provide a better feel for the stick as it contours with the shape of your hands. The power profile dual taper helps decrease torsional deflection by adding a secondary taper along the top and bottom surface, optimizing energy transfer from shaft to blade and improves shot accuracy.The blade is constructed with a PU core, which provides a great feel and adds supreme durability.

I have played for a number of years with wood sticks a d decided to try out the new composites. I tried two other sticks by Reebok and CCM that were in this price range and ended up returning both due to the ridiculous amount of chipping they both sustained after just one use. They also both had poor flexion to them making slap shots come up limp. I knew when I got the Bauer Nexus that I had finally found an economical composite stick that actually performs. The balance, light weight and toughness of this stick are second to none in this class. My wristers and slap shots both had improved performance over my prior wood sticks and beat out the other composites by a mile. I often play defense which means your stick can take a real marring and beating from playing but the Bauer has held up like a champ. No chipping and no issues after 6 games and numerous practice sessions. If you are considering a composite, this is the one to get, the only thing that is probably different from this stick and higher priced composites is the weight but quite frankly the difference is nominal. Get the Bauer Nexus and you'll never regret it
