Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Easy to use, Features, fit for a wide foot! awesome!, look
I was lucky enough to be able to visit the Chesterfield and St. Peters, MO stores to get these skates fitted and baked. Those guys are awesome!
This Bauer Nexus skate is very comfortable. I have a wider foot and had been wearing a very uncomfortable CCM U+ skate for 4 years.
Before you "assume" you need to buy a wide boot, try the normal width. I usually get a wide skate/shoe but the 9.6D skate I got has a lot of room in the toe box. It was awesome that I could actually move my toes a little. These skates look great also.
One other feature for CCM users considering a change, Bauer's tongues are stiffer and will protect from skate/lace bite on your ankle. My CCM tongue had broken down and was causing me issues. Bauer has plastic in their tongues that keep the laces off your foot/ankles.
This is an mid-expensive skate ($369) but is worth it for someone like me who has been skating for 6 years (as a 43 year old adult) and gets on the ice 2-5 times a week.
