I haven't ever owned a one piece stick, so I don't know how this compares to those in performance. HOWEVER, this is without a doubt the lightest shaft-blade two piece combo that I have ever encountered. When compared to the easton RS one-piece, I can't tell much difference in weight. The Mako is ridiculously light when compared to the s15 that I was using before. It has great pop and a low kickpoint. It loads up real easy so shooting requires very little effort. I have only had it for a week so I can't say much about the durability, but I hope it lasts a long time because I love it. Also, it doesn't hurt that it looks awesome. The only downside is that for only $40 bucks more, you can get an RS....
