I have purchased various brands for my son, trying to find the right equipment for him. Some have been good decisions and some not.
The tough part is getting gear without being able to touch and feel it in person.
Previous gear ..Brian's M-Series, Reebok 14K-18K, Koho, Bauer, Vaughn, Don Simmons, etc...from Jr to Int sizing.
The Warrior glove has a very good feel to it....feels secure and like an extension of your hand..not quite sure how to put it into words, but it just has a very comforting feel to it.
The puck finds the pocket well and it is "extremely" light...It offers good movement within the wrist area..my son was using an 18K Int glove, but had decided to use the Warrior for the secure feel and 1/2lb of weight saving.
The 18k Int is an awesome glove due to it's higher level of quality and protection..The 14K Jr glove is small and hard to work with due to so much material in a Jr glove.
I think the Brian's M-Series is nice in a minimalist way...for Jr goalies sometimes less is more...big and bulky can slow the goalie down and I have found that mobility seems to be the best approach for my son.
Warrior Ritual gear seems to be in the same vein of the Brian's M- Series, but with a more modern design and better functionality..and at a much lower price point.
The Ritual Jr blocker is even nicer than the glove...
The Ritual line for lil goalies is going to be hard to beat...
