Great skates
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features, durable, aggressive stance
Cons: very soft wheels
Great skates all around. They have an agressive stance that any aggresive hockey player will love. Compared to my old CCMs the take off speed is amazing my two strides to its four or five. only down side is not much venalation which mean very hot, only reason for that is because it has thermal pads that expand in heat to maxmize comfort. Dont think it was needed tho. The other con was the extermly soft wheels great for grip but lasted me a weekend. So buy the skates but also another pair of wheels.

Great skates!
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality
I normally buy the 2nd or 3rd tier models in the $200 - $300 range. I had some Mission 5500's that I loved but the chassis was too thin and cracked in multiple spots after a year. Then I tried the Mission Soldier SE's which were wide to start with but even after a year of skating 1-2x's a week the boot never broke in at all which meant little to no ankle support. I bought the Alkali CA5's at Total Hockey in Kirkwood and they felt great out of the box and even better after they baked them. I was nervous about buying a new brand that I hadn't heard of a week after the skates came out but through 6 games I couldn't be happier!
