Bauer 7.0 Griptac Composite Stick

The Bauer Vapor X 7.0 Griptac Composite Stick uses monocomp technology to ensure product and performance consistency. This single molding process removes excess material like overlapping layers, resin and foam waste. As a result, the balance of the stick is improved and the overall weight is reduced creating stick loading and improved energy transfer with every shot. Through advanced engineering, the Vapor X 7.0 Griptac is designed with a dual kick flex profile allowing for maximized performance benefits. By adding a second, higher kick point, the Vapor X 7.0 Griptac Composite Stick has a powerful release for slap shots and one-timers that elite players expect. In addition, the combination of the micro feel II shaft and a secondary taper along the top and bottom surfaces equals decreased torsional deflection for increased puck control and accuracy upon release. The optimized blade profile in the X 7.0 is created by increasing the connection point between the blade-hosel transition of the stick to reduce blade deflection - twisting or opening of the blade while shooting and passing - improving blade control and providing pinpoint shooting accuracy.

Bauer 7.0 Griptac Composite Stick
Pros: lightweight
Purchased this stick for my 11 year old squirt player. The staff ensured a proper fit and helped demonstrate how to use the flex to leverage the kickpoints. The Stamkos curve provided a solid stick for both forehand and backhand puck control. The toe and lie also allowed for good toe drags. If you are willing to spend additional money for a junior composite stick then give this model a try.
