I use this for inline play. I didnt like the idea of having no pads on my upper body and felt very vulnerable. This shirt gave me protection for light hits, slashes and for sitting in front of the net. It has let me get more into the action without worry. Its also light and airy and it keeps me cool during play. Sizes are slightly larger and looser than other brands which is good for me since other brands XLs were still too small for me.
