Great Design
Pros: Great value, Features, excellent mobility
I have tried way too many shoulder pads before finding these. The segmented fit is brilliant. When you twist your upper body (like you do constantly), the top moves freely while the bottom stays in place. Most other shoulder pads will twist around and ride up, which is why so many players will start to play with either minimalist or no shoulder pads. They are also very comfortable and stay out of the way and have good breathability. Lots of protection in the back and chest too.
I can't imagine needing more than these unless you are a shot blocking defenseman playing high level hockey.
Only problem I had was a little bit of stitching coming off of brand new pads but it never got worse.
