Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features, washable liners, well ventilated, light yet highly protective, great strapping systen, reasonably priced
Playing at a high level I needed shin pads that are highly protective yet light and not too bulky. These shin pads seemed to fit the bill and where much more reasonalbly priced than their top end 11K cousins. I took the chance they would suffice my needs and I'm glad I did. They are no where near as bulky as the 11K's yet offer some of the best protection on the market, because after all they are Reebok. My legs sit inside these shin pads nice and deep and they are super comfortable. The padding absorbs perspiration nicely and allow for great ventilation. It's also removable so you can wash it, a real nice plus. The strapping system is very comfortable and holds the pads beautifully in place. These pads offer the JDP principle and the anotomical system design (
ASD ) that Reebok is famous for. They compliment my 11K pants very nicely and my pants slip over these pads much more nicely when I pull them on (unlike my old 10K shin pads which I found very bulky as well. ) You really can't go wrong with Reebok shin pads because their second or third level shin pads offer a protection level as good or better than other brands top end offerings. There is definitely a reason more NHL players use Reebok shin pads than any other brand and I'm definitely sold on them as well.
