Cons: Expensive
First new pads since my late-90's Jofas (hate new pads), and they're amazing. Straps and fit are great - locked in and broken in after two skates. A little more narrow at the bottom than the old Jofas, but still feel comfortable over the skate tongues. Also like that the little above the knee thigh pad actually moves with you and doesn't flip out over your pants leg.

Great workmanship.
Pros: Quality
These shin guards have ample padding and a really thick outer shell that provides good protection and comfort. I really like the mobility as well - it's pretty easy to move your legs and get a nice low knee bend in these. I can't see much reason for spending the extra cash on the 11k's considering how well made these are.
