I've played roller hockey in Heaton pants for a good 6-7 years now, the padding has flattened and the material was starting to degrade. Time for a new pair! I love Reebok gear, have played on 7k set of glove/blocker/pads for 3 years now with great results. I expect nothing less of the 11k pant.
The fit is stellar, the interior waist strap / floating outer shell design allows for a bulkier pant without loosing maneuverability in the crease. I'm a tall skinny guy with 31/32 waist, Medium fits great - waist strap has room for expansion, pant is not overly large feeling but still have room to move inside. While Reebok says suspenders aren't necessary, I opted to continue using them because the back of the pant felt like it was sagging when hunched over - Suspenders relieve some of the force on the back of the waist strap.
The padding is leaps and bounds above what I've previously used. Inner and outer thigh guards provide great protection for a "mobile" goalie, and with the way they hang I am a few inches wider in the thigh/hip area. There is an exterior roll around the waist with flexible pads that provide additional coverage at the front hip joints (a painful spot in the past), and there's extended kidney flaps up the lower back/sides. Found that these help when pinching a loose puck under the arm.
I have not used the +1" option on the pant, concerned it may interfere with my pads. Maybe only intended for the taller customers, or maybe I'll throw down another inch of net coverage in the future.
Durability score (5star) is based more on previous experience of Reebok product, I've only used the 11k a few times.
To sum it up I am very pleased with this purchase. Pant is super comfy, very flexible when flopping around in the crease, and provides more and better coverage than my previous pant.
