Great function and comfort, hips not quite good

Cons: padding
I bought these, and LOVED the pull-tab belt on the front. They fit securely, are well-ventilated, and very comfortable. Unfortunately - the hip pads didn't protect low enough onto the hip, and I've had continued hip bruising when I go down to block shots or fall. They needed to include at least a mid-density foam below where the main hip pad ends.
