Not the best protection for knees
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: design of knee pocket
I grew up playing and currently play in a few beer leagues for a total of 4-5 nights a week. I had high hopes for the knee protection in these, coming from older Jofa and then a pair of RbK 10k shin guards. These definitely do a good job of deflecting pucks and sticks without an issue, but I've found the insert for the knee does not stay in place and shift while wearing them -- I have to adjust them every time I dress to make sure the velcro is set again. Perhaps related, I've also had several occasions where I've bruised my knee pretty badly...perhaps I am a bit picky after MCL injuries, but I am still searching for a solid option for knee protection.

awesome shin gaurds
Pros: Great value, Quality
Cons: Expensive
these shin gaurds will give you the most protection for the lightest weight. I use these on ice and roller and they are great. The straps hold them in place and they will protect you from pucks slahes especially on your calf.
