I have been using these for about 3 months now, 4-5x a week, and I would say this is one of the best equipment purchases I have ever made.
Protection was key for me as I wanted to minimize any potential injuries, bruises, soreness, etc. and I didn't mind carrying some extra weight to get this level of protection. I tried on the Reebok 11K and Easton RS pants but settled on the TotalOne's because they fit me the best (34 waist and bought size L, I'd say plenty of room for even 36-37). From a visual perspective, I thought the 11K's seemed most protective, the T1's next, and the Easton RS last. But after taking many hard falls (tailbone, hip) and numerous impacts, the T1 pants have exceeded all of my expectations. Very, very protective pant.
Mobility was second priority, but this may actually be the T1's best attribute, I can barely tell that I have them on. My old pants were CCM V08's, which were tanks, but also felt like you were wearing armor. The T1's are light, and they allow you to move however you like. Really an amazing design.
Durability is great, also exceeded my expectations. I have put these through alot of use, and they still look fairly new. Some of the stretch areas I am concerned about, only because they feel thin, but it doesn't show any wear.
Highly recommended.
