Pros: Easy to use
my sons first pair of skates. He is learning to skate and has had rentals until now and a good pair of skates do make it easier to learn.

Cons: quarter panel rips easily
Bought these for my Mite-level son at the start of the season; upgraded from entry-level Reebok. It was between the 3.0s and 1.0s. After trying them on, he chose the 3.0s based on comfort. It definitely improved his skating (noticed after a week). My son swears by the 3.0s now and won't even look at any other skates. I did give Durability 4 stars due to how easily the quarter panel started to rip and snag so quickly. Otherwise, nothing else bad about the 3.0s.
