Not the Bauer Quality I Expected
Pros: Helped improve my game
Cons: Quality, Expensive, cheap footbed
Upgraded my son from the Vapor X1.0, good skates but, I cannot believe the quality of the footbed and liner. Compared to cheaper skates from different brands, the quality was just not there. I expected more from a Bauer higher end skate, I realize these are for youth, but c'mon if other brands can do it, you would expect Bauer to easily match or surpass. Overall, the skates are an upgrade from the 1.0 and after breaking them in my son's skating has improved. Which why I gave the skates a decent rating, because that's what it's all about anyway.

1st pair of Vapor
Pros: Helped improve my game, Easy to use, conformable
Cons: Quality, Expensive, price a little high
Bought these for my son 7 year old Mite AA player. He says these are very comfortable skates. He had been wearing RBK 9K with the pump. He wanted to stay with Reebok but they do not have the pump in youth size anymore. Boot is stiff. Blade seams to stay sharp a little longer than his 9K did better steel I guess. I did not want to buy these because you can't bake them. But could not find the other Bauer skates in 13.5. But he says they fit just fine. The outside boot must cut EZ because it looks like the skate is 1 old already and its only about a month old.

Happy With Purchase

Cons: Expensive
Purchased for my 7yr old. Changed from Graf's. It took a little while to get used to but once he did he was flying around the ice. Overall happy!
