I bought a pair of these for my self (9.0EE) and I liked them so much I picked up a 3D for my son.
I have beat the snot out of mine in Men's league and the only problem I've had is the liner above the top eyelets wearing thin.
The tongues are think enough to ward off lacebite, the boots protect very well, especially the toe cap. The foot beds could use some improvement, I picked up some superfeet yellows for mine but my squirt says he likes how he can "feel the ice" for control.
Also, the stainless steel runner is not very tall so you'll probably only get a couple years if you sharpen often.
Over all they are very comfortable...we baked them and had no issues after the first hour or two. Great skate, great value.
I do think they run narrow compared to the Supreme line especially in the toe cap/pinky toe area but that can be fixed with a 1/2 size longer or the EE width.

I bought the Bauer Vapor X 4.0 Ice Skates for my son who is a Squirt and he really likes them. He even won the fastest skater award at a skills challenge 2 weeks after we bought the skates. He says they are comfortable and look cool. My only issue with them was after only a few times of using them, the material covering the boot had several major rips in it on both skates. We never got the skates baked and my son was not hard on the skates. I contacted Bauer and they said they would not replace the skates. I couldn't believe how fragile the material is that covers the boot. I expected better quality and customer service from Bauer. I got some glue and repaired the ripped and peeled fabric on both the boots myself and it seems to have worked out alright. Have had the skates for almost a year and other than 5-6 rips and tears on the boot material, the skates have held up fairly well. The pictures I attached were taken 2 weeks after we bought the skates. My son had only skated at 2 practices and 2 games with these new skates when these rips appeared.

I purchased these for my daughter. The EE runs very wide, so unless you have a very wide foot, the D width should be fine. These are the heat moldable so it will help with break in time.
