Poor Riveting Job

I skate about 3-4 night a week. I play at the intermediate level and weight is about 200 lbs. I purchased these skates in the summer (on sale) but did not use them until the fall(warranty is up). I really like the fit and comfort of the skate, but all of that is washed out when all the rivets come out on the toes of both skate after about only 4-5 games. The quality of the skate is really questionable when they fall apart that quick. My Bauers and Missions that I had in the passed never came apart like this.These fit my feet (especially the toe area) better than other brands, but it is hard to skate with loose blades.

These skates are awesome. the fit is perfect. got them baked, and after about 4 skates they feel great. Super stiff, and very protective. The jump from the S12 to S17 is very minor other than the clarino liner, and the lighter boot. Deffinetely coming back to easton next time around!

I decided to get some new skates after I took some heavy shots off of my foot in some games the season before (one resulting in a hospital visit). My cheap skates I had before were so thin on the inside of the foot it was embarrassing. This is where the S12's came in; the boot is SOLID. I have already taken a shot off of the same spot with these and while it hurt it wasn't as bad as before.
I had these skates baked when I got them even though I had a lucky streak of not ever needing to bake my skates ever. The baking probably helped immensely, mainly because after wearing them a week I had some pain in my foot that eventually went away as the boot broke in all the way on about 10 hours of ice time.
The heel-lock feature is incredible and I have never felt so locked into my skate ever. It really helped my explosive starts and the works.
It did take a little getting used to them overall because I guess the profile was a little bit different than my Synergy's that I had before. So far outside of knicks in the runner and the boot from skates/sticks/pucks everything is holding together well.
One thing you might want to make sure you don't do is leave a soaker over the blade after the game with the blade down in your bag. I know this is a noob mistake but the stainless steel actually began to chip in certain spots. So I had them re-sharpened and now after each game I turn them upside down and remove the insole.
You will like this skate if you want a lot of the great features the top-of-the-line skates have but don't want to pay the top-of-the-line price. These skates in that light are affordable!

i love these skates i got them about two months ago. When i first got these skates out of the box i took them to get molded and sharpened the next day i wore them at practice they were really light and flexible to the way i play. Almost as good as the s17 but cheaper still an awsome skate and i will have these skates for a while.

I've had these skates for 6 weeks now. They seem relatively durable so far. The composite boot is very stiff and supportive. They are not the lightest skate out there but are light enough. They are very comfortable almost right out of the box. Once you bake them, they are good to go. I've been very happy with these skates, and bought a pair for my wife last week also.
