Fall apart
Pros: performance
Cons: Quality, Expensive, durability
I didn't have a problem with these skates performance wise, but I blew apart two pairs in two years. I was very disappointed in them because I liked the skate, but they could never hold up. I ripped out countless eyelits and broke the back support tongue on both pairs. With the second pair I made sure to take care of them and they still fell apart on me. CCM needs to make an affordable boot that can hold up because I have had four pairs completely fall apart on me. I wish this wasn't my only option in skates due to my arch support on my foot. Bauer gave me foot problems

Really like the skates
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: eyelets
Out of the box, these were really nice skates. They are comfortable and relatively light. I haven't had any real durability problems in the months that I've owned them, but the eyelets cut through laces like crazy.

Good Skate
Pros: Easy to use, most bang for your dollar.
Cons: midium quality blade.
The U12 model is a top of the line skate without the top of the line price. The only draw back is the blade is dull after 5 or 6 outings but I saved hundreds so its a small price to pay.

U+12 Ice Skate
Cons: Quality, Expensive
They are very comfortable skates but with in a month the tongue of the skate was ripped the back of the skat was falling apart. I expected better from a skate that was 400 dollars.

Eyelet problems
Cons: Quality
I have had these skates for 8 months and all of the eyelets are rusted. I noticed this after about 3 months of using them (I play 3 times a week and air them out after using them) and was told this is not covered by the warranty and referred to a local shoe repair shop. Not very happy about spending extra money on $400 skates. Other than the eyelet issues the rest of the skate is holding up well (The tongue is getting worn on the sides). They are also pretty comfortable once broken-in and seem to be pretty protective.

Great Skates
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality
I've worn ccm tacks my entire life, these fit just the same. The protection on these skates is surprising. You will always feel a shot off of the instep or the laces, with these its not nearly as bad as I was expecting. They are nice and light and are holding up nicely after 6 months.

Nothing Changes
Pros: Quality
CCM has not changed the fit and quality of their skates. I purchased the CCM Pro Tacks seven years ago and they did the job. I recently purchased the U12 skate and they are a perfect fit. So far there is very little break in (get your skates baked and fitted) or stiffness.

DO NOT BUY THESE SKATES
Cons: Quality, durability
Easily worst skate I've ever worn. Fell apart in 3 months. Now I have no eyelets or tendon guards and the tongue is destroyed. Also feels like there's a piece of metal sticking into my leg. Would constantly Make me feet go numb and destroy my ankles now I have cuts on the back of my ankles from something sticking into my leg. Save yourself 400$ and never buy these skates

GREAT SKATES
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, composite boot design
Cons: exterior build quality
The CCM U+12 Skates are the best skates i have ever had from CCM, they are almost the same skates as the Crazy lights but the material on the inside is different. The only thing i dont like is the exterior build quality. The Structure is great but some of the little things are cheaply made...... like the eyelets and the tendon gaurd are a little weak.
The U+12s are made in Thailand...... as the Crazy Lights are made in Candada, explaining why the CL's are more expensive.

Great Skate!
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Features
Cons: insole, break in
Although it's taking a little longer to break in than I had anticipated this is an awesome skate. I suspect if I get 'em baked one more time they'll be perfect. The only thing showing wear early on is the insole with u foam. I don't think they'll last very long. Great support, super light, and my feet feel quicker in these compared to the last U+ skates I had.
If your on the fence...do it!!
