The first thing I noticed when I put these on where how light they were. These are much lighter than any pants I have tried and I feel that they have a greater range of motion. The padding is okay. There is some great coverage by the larger dual density pads, but other then that there really isn't much. Easton gives you the option to take out the single density foam, which even if you don't want to, end up falling out at some time. I would also say that the single density foam probably wouldn't provide much of any protection from anything anyways, so whats the point of having it? Otherwise, I like this girdle quite a bit, real light and flexible.
