Pros: Quality, Easy to use
Cons: lack of calf wrap
I've had these for about a year. Once I got used to them, I was very satisfied. These replaced a pair of Reebok 8K Premier Series II pads that I wore for 5 years that literally fell apart on me. The Vaughns are much better constructed than the Reeboks at the same price point were and should last quite a while. A fuller calf wrap would have been nice, but other than that, I have no complaints.

Vaughn 7450 - Decent Pads at Decent Price
Pros: Great value, Easy to use
First pads after long hockey hiatis.Good out of the box. Good fit. Good performance. Seems like a reasonable set of pads for the price.
Only con would be that they could use additional padding on the outer calf/leg.

I recently purchased the Vaughn 7450 Leg pads, upgrading from the CCM Blockade pads. The first thing I noticed on the ice was the balance stabilizers, ( before, it felt like I had to force my legs into the correct position ) and after putting on the 7450's it took a lot less effort, it also helped me make a few more saves than I normally would have! The Flex Pac Stuffing is great, my pads felt broken in after playing 2 games in them. I would've like more features ( Compared to the much more expensive Brian's Focus ) but for the price they're great. I haven't had the pads long enough to test durability, but at the most I play twice a week so they should last me a while.

My first Vaughn leg pad. This is an average pad for intermediate level of play, in my opinion. Maybe my expectations where higher with the Vaughn brand name. These pads are comortable and very light. Good protection. The best feature is the knee cradle. But I'm a little disappointed in how the pad fits over the boot (only 1 strap) and amount of space from the bottom of the pad to the ice surface. The features of this Vaughn pad is typical for most other competing pads at this level...but more expensive.

Excellent choice ...Very high quality pads ..i got the full set w/ glove and blocker ..Great pads and great looking to ...I get many complements...built in knee pads are pro quality ..Only had them a few weeks but am very impressed ...Still have to see how they hold up over time but I see no problem .
