I have bought plastic throat guards before making this purchase. After my second throat guard had broke I decided to try this out. I am happy with my purchase. It can be a little uncomfortable at first but it took me a couple practices to not notice it.

this is a great bib. it offers good protection and is very light weight. it does run just a bit smaller so for you bigger guys it may feel tight. my neck is about 16.5 inches and it fits perfect.

Cons: velcro is somewhat uncomfortable/damaging
The neck is padded enough to feel protected, and flexible enough to be comfortable. Clavicle padding is sufficient. My only issues is the large strip of velcro (the male side) that is tearing up the straps of my mask and chest protector. The strap only covers about an inch, and there is almost two inches exposed of the sharp side. When looking to the right or down, it rubs on my neck and causes irritation.
