A Poor Product
I got this stick for outdoor roller hockey, primarily using roller hockey pucks. The shaft is heavy and bulky, which I'll forgive since this is a lower priced ABS stick, however the performance is very poor. The shots had much less power and accuracy than any ABS stick I've used in recent memory, and within a few weeks, the shaft broke near the blade.
If you're a beginner looking to mess around with a hockey ball in the street, this is an adequate stick. If you're looking for anything more than that, get a different stick.

Great value!
Pros: Great value, Quality
Cons: heavy
I'm a 38 yr old beginner and bought two of these sticks. This stick maybe heavy but for the price and durability, it can’t be beat. I love the flex of this stick; as a bigger guy anything with a lighter flex seems like I’m wielding a wet noodle.

Great for a newbie like me!
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use
Cons: heavier than composite
I am 38 y.o. and just getting into actually playing hockey after participating in about every other sport growing up and as an adult. It is a steep learning curve but I am getting there.
I picked this stick up originally at a local sporting goods store and then got another one here at TH. It is a bit heavier than composites but just starting out, I wanted the durability of a wood stick and the lower price. It has taken a good beating so far.
I may move on one day to something else but for $24.99 and its seemingly good durability, this is a solid deal.

good beater stick
Pros: Great value, Easy to use
I wouldn't use it one the ice, but for "yard hockey" and the like, it's great. The blade will take just about any kind of abuse you can put it through - last winter, I used mine to clear snow from my front porch and break ice off my back porch.

Impressive
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Features, durable
Cons: a bit heavy
I'm kind of like the other guy reviewing here in that I'm getting back into the sport after a 20 year absence. I'm not sure if it's the flex or the blade but I actually find I have better control with this stick in terms of shots (both elevation and accuracy), though it's not all that quick considering its weight (not so good for defense). But as the other reviewer said, it builds strength and it's solid. Mine has lasted 8 months now (ice and inline) with barely a dent. The blade has started splitting a bit at the heel, but nothing preventing its use.
Finish on shaft is nice and gripping (probably wouldn't need tape even). Blade is substantial.
As a point of comparison, I picked up a lighter wood stick with 85 flex that I don't like using nearly as much as this one.
Won't hesitate to buy it again.

Pros: Great value, Easy to use, helps build strength
I just started playing hockey after 17 years off. This stick reminds me of the one I had when I was younger. Great for the price. Don't have to worry about breaking this stick (just everybody elses).
