Top Notch Protection

Cons: Expensive, slightly heavier than other top end pants
These pants are by far the most protective pants I have worn of any brand. Nothing else gives you as much padding around the hip, kidney/tailbone , spine and thigh areas. The thighs especially because the padding curls around to the very inside of the leg with high density foam. Nothing else on the market comes close. The pants themselves are light for the amount of padding they come with and the inside liner moves independantly from the outside giving you a great skate stride. The lower pant legs are also equipped with abrastion resistant 840 denier fabric to give you the extra durability you need for board burn when your squeezed between players and the boards. The inside liner is soft and comfortable and absorbs perspiration but dries quickly after use. The inside belt is great and gives you a great hug around the hips so you don't even need suspenders.The overlapping velcro belt is an improvement from the lace up traditional front and less of a pain to keep secure. All in all these are among some of the most elite pants on the market and so far I've had no quality issues whatsoever. I highly recommend these pants if you play advanced to pro hockey, you won't find anything else as protective on the market today.

I found these to be a great fit with a lot of protection. The flaws come with the overseas manufacturing and quality. My pants had stitching issues from the get go. I had to sew them up and reinforce several areas where the stitching failed or pulled out only to have to chase this problem again and again. This is not something I would expect from the top of the line pant. I guess the pro version of double stitching is what is really necessary. WHY DON'T THEY OFFER THE PRO VERSION FOR SALE?????
