Great skate.
Pros: Helped improve my game
I am just really starting to move my game up and these skates are excellent. I noticed better control in my turns and ease of stride in my first skate. Protection was my main reason for getting the One 80's. Took a slapper off the ankle and felt it but no pain which as a defensemen was a nice change. My old skates had me gimping around for 2 weeks and not wanting to miss work because of a hockey injury (that could be prevented) moved up to these for the protection reason. The control on the blades was just a bonus. Love these skates.

Go with the 80's
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
My original post was going to be to bash the one100's. After trying 2 pairs that ended up with warped blades(holder screws were not properly drilled), out of immediate need I traded down to the 80's. The comfort of this skate, to me, was far superior to that of the one100's. I think there is a reasonable limit to how stiff a skate can be without being impractical. After a bake and 1 skate they are already more comfortable than the 100's that I spent 3 weeks on.

Great skate for wide feet
Pros: Quality, strong boot, great "e" width
Love these skates. "E" width fits my extremely wide feet well. New toe box has plenty of room. Skates are extremely strong, absorb a lot of impact from hard shots. Longer "power" blade takes some getting used to when skating backwards but overall it seems to do something. I recommend these skates to anybody that has wide feet and is looking for a good "E" width skate over any other skate on the market.

Awesome!
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality
After 15 years, I was ready for new skates. Originally trying on the 40's, then the 60's - they held nothing to the comfort of the One80's right out of the box. I couldn't believe I was about to spend $400 on a pair of skates (playing only once or twice a week in mens league) but these were definitely worth it. About 10 games in and no problems what so ever. I feel lighter, faster, turns are sharper - truly an amazing skate.

Pretty Good Skates
Pros: Great value, look nice
Cons: Quality, narrow
I got these skates because a few of my teammates bought and liked them. The skates are cool and light but they where too narrow for me so they would hurt my feet.

Excellent skates
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Features
Lightweight, short break-in period, size is true (I have wide feet, so I ordered EEE). Tried the One70s, but these felt so much better. Great skates.

Awesome
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Features
Ive been a hockey player for most of my adult life and I have always skated Bauer. Just recently I had purchased a pair of One 80's from the Sch store, but had huge help from Downers Grv store, and I absolutly love the skates! When I read some other reviews on how the skates have helped the players game, i was a bit skeptical. I honestly have to say my skating and confidence have both increased greatly. Being it that I usually play D, skating is a huge part of my game. The control I get from these skates is amazing, and the protection is night and day from my other skates. Took a slapper to the inside of my ankle and was able to shrug off what would have easily ended my season for sure before. It feels like skating on rails...thats how much control i have now...No blowouts. Love the boot, love the feel and after a few more months using them...the 4 ratings i gave will definitely be 5's. If you like Bauer and are in the market for a new skate...one 80's rock!

A worthwhile purchase
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality
I was originally going to buy one100s but I decided that it wasn't necessary considering I don't play in any pro leagues. With that said, the one80s are all the skate you'll need whether you're a beginner or a more advanced player. For those with narrow forefeet, be advised, the toe box is very roomy. I was skating on CCM pro-tacks and they were much more snug. I went with a half size smaller pair to compensate for the roominess. With that said, it only took a skate or two to get used to the difference in fit. The longer blade in the one80 definitely adds more power to each stride - a great feature - sharp turns and powerful kicks. I would recommend these to long striding skaters rather than ice-hoppers. Bottom line: They're great skates. The only downside is that the outer boot scuffs up quite easily - but looks really aren't that important. Don't go out and buy a $600 pair of skates unless you're fully grown and playing in a serious league.

Upgrade from CCMs
Pros: Helped improve my game
Cons: a little painful to break in
Upgraded from CCM V03s and noticed a huge performance increase over my old CCMs. Took a couple sessions to break these in, but definately worth the effort. The boot was nice and stiff and locks your foot in, providing great stability and increased turning ability. Great skates, highly recommended

Great Skate
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Easy to use
Love this skate! Obviously not too sure about the durability yet but it seems good. I love the anatomical shape to the boot. They are quite a bit stiffer than my Supreme One 55's but I wanted to go up a notch in quality and have had no trouble breaking them in. The new longer blade takes a little getting used to but I love the responsiveness and control!

Just starting up hockey and have only skated with them three times and they feel great. No blisters and very light weight and comfortable. Great skate for the price.

Bought my first pair of skates in 34 years. Salesman said these were similar to my Supreme 96's. Excellent feel but a lot lighter than my old ones.
