These pants are disposable
Cons: Quality, durability
Bought these pants for my 12 year old son. While they fit nicely, the material and craftsmanship are cheap. The crotch seams have given way (4" exposure that I'm not sure we'll be able to stitch up) and the zippers on the inseam of the leg's are another problem. Not worth the money spent unless you're looking for disposable gear that only gets you through half the season.....

Horrible Quality
I purchased these pants on the recommendation of several people who had nothing but good things to say about Bauer products. I have had nothing but problems with these pants since I received them. The leg zippers broke the very first time I used them. Since the zippers were broken, my skates tore holes in the back of the legs every time I put the pants on. The velcro covering the zippers would snag my socks, and the material on the inner thighs has become shredded. Very poor quality from such a highly esteemed company!

After 10 hour on ice they are in a worse condition that my sons old pants used for three years.
The quality of the material on the inside of the thighs are so poor that they look like a rag doll.

Cons: very thick around kidney guards
I upgraded to these from my old school supertacks and the X40's give me a lot more protection but decrease my range of motion a bit. they are still light weight and very breathable. My only complaint about he pants is that they are too thick by the kidney guards and my jersey doesnt stay on the ouside of my breezers it keeps creeping between them and I dont like my jersey tucked in so I am constantly pulling my jersey out. Everything else is excellent and would definately recommend them!
