The shoulder pads feel extemely light but offer
great protection. I hardly even know I have them on but when I take a hit from another player I barely feel it. Great pads for the money!!

I went from the Bauer pro defender to these. The defenders ran really large around the shoulders and seem to be for checking and for what I play there isn't any checking so I don't need that. Plus these have plenty of front and back protection so I feel confident going for blocked shots. They barely rise up on me and they have great protection around my shoulder and neck area as well. I wear a cage as well and I can look around freely without it hitting them as well. You don't really need the X:60s though it would be nice, even the the X:30s are good but these have great over all protection.
