I am very pleased with the purchase of these shins. I am new to the game and I wanted to protect myself but still be functional on the ice, These shins do both very well. They are light and comefortable while still offering a TON of protection front and back.

great shin guard

Cons: the straps hold great but not much too them
these are not heavy like the old school ones that i upgraded to with the x60. i have the bauer 5000 supreme the protection is liek armor they have that calf pad that pretty much doesnt expose your back leg but the down side they are large and heavier then the vapor 60s from using these for about a month with 4-5 hours of ice time a week on them they are holding up to myself this was a great decsion.
