Pretty good for the cost
Pros: pretty good value, cost
Cons: Quality, durability
I bought a whole set of the RX6's. The leg pads are by far the best part of the set. I reviewed the glove and blocker already so you can check those out if you want to. In my opinion the are pretty bad. The leg pads on the other hand are pretty good for the cost that you pay. One thing I didn't really like and that I didn't realize when I bought them was that the graphic is painted on not sewn on like I expected. I guess I should have realized with the cost. I have noticed a little tearing in the thigh rise where the binding comes through, but they have held up ok through 2 seasons that I have had them. I will say from now on, I will save up a little while longer and get higher level pro equipment to last longer. I can tell these won't last long, but they were a good fix for the cost.

Great Value
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features, comfortable
I bought these pads along with matching glove and blocker and can say I couldn't be more satisfied. These pads are the ultimate in price and customization. I fit in a 34 +1 which is what i bought, but these pads have a special knee device that lets you move the mount lower and higher. This made for a perfect fit with my legs and improved my mobility 100%. since buying these pads my game has improved 100% and i would gladly recommend these to anybody.

rx6 goalie pads
Pros: Great value, Easy to use, Features
Cons: Quality, small
i started goalie a while back, and these where the first pads i got. im using them now, and im starting to get annoyed. one of the pads is about an inch smaller and the straps are alot tighter. it is also really hard to slide in them.
if your starting goalie, they are good pads to see if you like the hybrid style, or want to be more of a butterfly goalie. they are a good value, but not for intermidiate or advanced goalies. also, they are really ugly.

Great pads, great value
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use
Cons: the nylon straps tend to get caught in velcro
I just play casual hockey, pick up and league play at the local rink. These are quality pads for the price. These are great hybrid style pads offering excellent flexibility right out of the box with little break in time.
The adjustable knee is neat too, giving you significant control for comfortable knee placement and protection.
The +1 sizing allows for excellent five-hole coverage and its extremely lightweight which allows for ease of movement and mobility. Used for over a month, at least 2 times a week, and still in great shape; they are very durable pads.
If you're looking for an affordable set of pads for hybrid style goalies, you cant go wrong with these.

Flawless product for what you pay for
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
Cons: cheap plastic clips will break when struck by puck
These entry level pads have held up and performed extremely well after 6 adult games and 4 skate and stick sessions. If you don't use knee pads, the leg pads are very comfortable and maneuverable. If you use knee pads with them, they can be bulky to use but that could simply be the type of knee pad I am using with them.
2 minor issues with them which is why I didn't rate the product 5 stars in all categories:
1) If you don't wear knee pads, the thigh wrap does not protect your knee cap in the butterfly position. I found out the hard way when a forward wristed a puck on the ice 5-hole and it struck where the thigh wrap meets the knee pad....lets just say it didn't tickle which is why I purchased knee pads soon after.
2) The 2 upper straps are not leather/metal buckle, but plastic clips. I took a slapshop that directly hit one of those buckles and blew the plastic clip to pieces. Had to play the rest of game tying the hanging strap inside my leg pad. I replaced the clip with that from Vaughn because the Vaughn plastic clip seemed more durable-hardened plastic. The Bauer plastic clips are very cheap.

RX 6 leg pads
Pros: Great value, Easy to use
solid pad, need's some break in time but are very light and flexible. Great price! they seem to be holding up well playing on ice twice a week now for about 3 months. Very good buy.
