Best butterfly pads on the market, bar none. The pads feature a leg channel mix between a vaughn pad and a reebok pad. Its not as open as the reeboks, but not closed like a vaughn. Its perfect. They are the most comfortable pads I have ever put on. They are so light, yet so solid. They have really helped my game alot. Expensive, but they are the same price as all pro level gear.

I was excited to try these pads because of my butterfly style and i am completely satisfied. I play college and these are the perfect butterfly pads. They bite to the ice, easy to move in and slide side to side. It definitely improved my lateral movement and is worth every penny.

Cons: Expensive
i was nervous about these pads because they were so loght. Bauer made up for the difference by giving the pads smooth movement, great grip and steady handle. I would reccomend to any goalie.

These pads are great. My favorite thing about them is how well they lock to the ice when I butterfly. I also like how comfortable they are and sliding around seems easier and quicker compared to my old pads.
They're certainly more of a butterfly "blocking" pad and not a hybrid "reactional" pad like the x:60's. So if your styles is a lot of positional play, sliding around and butterflying then this is an excellent pad for you!
