Quite simply the best helmet I've ever owned. Straight out of the box it was easy to install my face shield and ready to go for my game later that evening. Multitude of vents keeps my head cool with or without a dew rag, and not to mention its sleek stylish look! A+ to the Cascade development team for finally revolutionizing the Ice Hockey helmet market!

Best Helmet on the Market

With all the concussions occurring in hockey today, there is no skimping on the helmet. Both my kids have this helmet, and by far the best on the market. It is not the cheapest on the market, but you pay for what you get. I noticed that almost every kid playing AAA hockey has this on their head.

I have tried the following helmets in store:
Reebok 8K
Easton S17
Easton S19
CCM V10
Bauer 9900
Easton S17
Easton S19
CCM V10

And the only helmet that felt comfortable and seemed to have efficient features was the M11... I looked into all these helmets and they do offer great features, but the M11's feel is genuinely superior, It doesn't have that feeling of having to be broken in, it just fit right away. Obviously I talk about my own experience, but I do believe that people should give it a legitimate look when shopping for top of the line helmets.
Also, for those who believe it to be a little heavy, it is amazingly balanced and the absence of pressure points (thanks to the seven technology) helps considerably it's cause when compared to the S19 or the 8k for example.
The mono shell requires a ratchet system that I believe to be far superior to the S19 baseball hat-like adjustment. I find the possibility to adjust the tightness once the helmet is on to be brilliant, and it really helps providing that snug feel that no other top of the line helmet seemed to be providing.

I got this helmet because I had heard a lot of great things about it and I needed a new helmet. I had the Easton S9 helmet before this one. The easton was nice at first but the foams got hard over time and i started hurting bad if my head hit the boards. The M11 is great because the foams stay soft over time.

Cascade M11 Helmet

This helmet is worth every penny. The foam is soft, unlike the older helmets where it is very firm and sometimes hard. This helmet is everything they say it is. I bought this because i have suffered a few concussions and researched it very hard. In the end it is the best helmet I have ever had. The adjustment strap system is great, no more screws. This adjusts all the way around your head just not front to back.
I marked a con as expensive, but like I said worth every penny. At a $110, ask yourself, is my head worth it?
