It's a solid bucket, kept me safe for 2 solid years in juniors. However halfway through my first season with it the gel padding started to peal off and after a year the gel padding seemed to harden a little bit. However just on style points alone this bucket is absolutely amazing.

Cons: adhesive pads come off easily
This helmet is extremely light!!! It does not have the thick memory foam of most helmets. The design is simialr to a bike helmet; extremely light and great protection. The only con is that the adhesive padding at the forehead area is already starting to come off after 3 games.

what else can i say this helmet is the most comfortable i ever had.ever had! never had a problem with the padding like other guys have been saying.helmet runs true to size,in which my case was a medium,(im 22.5) and didnt have to adjust to fit ,it seemed like it was custom made for my head,ill definately get another or a 11k,i can see now why the pros wear them!!!!!

This helmet fits extremely well, feels great, is light and appears very durable and stylish.
Only thing I have a slight issue with, and it's not necessarily the manufacturer's fault, it that it tends to slip down my forehead, resting on my eyebrows when wearing a skullcap/headband. I sweat a fair amount, and it gets in my eyes, so I wear one of the Underarmour skullcaps. I can't seem to get the adjustment right to where the helmet will stay put without clamping down on my head hard enough to cause a headache.

the stabilizer adjustment in the back (the reason I went with this helmet over the ccm v10) is useless. You adjust it and it just goes back to the setting that it was in before you touched it. However, the helmet fits well enough that they aren't really needed anyway.

I love this helmet because it is so light. I've taken pucks to the head and haven't had a problem either. Pretty expensive though and if the Easton Z-Shock had been out when I bought this helmet, I probably would have paid the extra $20 to get that.

the reebok 8k helmet iss the best helmet on the market it is so much better than the s19 you will not even last a game with the s19 one hit and you are done. their is no protection on that. the s19 is light but not a good helmet for a young player in their peewee years.
