Cons: chin stap is a bit tight
Visually, it is like playing without a shield ... so very nice to have undistracting view of action/ ice/puck/players, etc.
It vents fairly well and stays clear of fog as long as I use the anti-fog juice. The strap on the chin cup is about 1-2" too short for comfort on me making the chin cup a bit tight against my jaw.
I keep the shield protected from scratching in storage/transit with soft helmet bag. Overall, glad I bought it and it is my new face protection of choice. Never going back to the cage.

I played hockey when u didnt need full face shields. This is the best for sight while playing. The cages are no match for these clear shields

I have been wearing the wire mask for quite awhile and always felt tunnel visioned. when i changed to the full face shield it felt like i wasnt looking through any thing i had perifials and saw the rink great. reccomened the change

I have owned this cage for about a year now. It doesn't hinder my vision or my breathing at all and it is a great value.
I do, however, have two issues to address.. First, I was tripped the once while wearing it and the lens was scratched easily. I now have a patch on the left side the is smeared and is a nuisance.
Second, Like most shields. By anti fogging spray if you buy this. It will fog up on you really quickly without it.

I bought this a few months ago. Make sure you get anti-fog spray and use it before you play. Mine still fogs up on occasion on the bench, but right when you hop off the bench you'll be fine. I see myself going to the half cage half plastic over the full plastic though.

Shield gets foggy about half way through game...I'm going back the cage.
