Bought this helmet 6 months ago for my son who plays Midget hockey. Plastic clip on chin strap has already broken, so we have it jerry-rigged right now. Last night the strap holding the back plate on came UNGLUED and fell off. We have a tournament this weekend and I'm scrambling to find a replacement that will hold up. This helmet is a piece of junk and not worth the $300 we paid for it!

At first I really liked the helmet. Third time used took a shot on the side of jaw and back plate snap cracked. Poor quality, just a thin piece of plastic holding the strap now have to repair. I wonder how many times this will happen over the course of use. Never had this problem with Bauer
