It saved my life

I was skating in a parking lot doing some skating drills. I was skating backwards didn’t see a puck and I hit the ground so hard I broke my tailbone, got whiplash, and a very minor concussion (mostly because of the neck.) I was skating alone and it was over 20 min before someone walked by and called 911. If I wasn’t wearing this bucket I might not be here to write this! In fact the LA Kings sticker I put on the back was scratched more than the helmet itself.

Just a great value - both in price and quality. It fits true to size, so shop accordingly. The cage color is not ideal, but serviceable, but not enough to complain about at this price.

this helmet is a good price but lacks in comfort. it will not shape to your head with frequent use. the foam fell out after 2 uses, and it is a pain to adjust.

Rock hard padding.
Pros: Great value
Cons: poor comfort
This helmet gets the job done i guess, but the padding is almost literally as hard as granite which causes it to pull your hair and leave indentions on your forehead after use.
I also hate how close together the two bars in the center of the cage are. It makes it hard to scratch your face or wipe sweat out of your eyes quickly while on the bench.
The price is right if you're on a budget, but I think the CCM V08 is a better product with much softer padding.

excellent helmet for the price

I bought this helmet for my 5 year old who is just starting out. The helmet is size Small and I put the helmet on the smallest setting possible and it works great. Since it's adjustable, he'll get at least 2 years out of it and hopefully 3. Pretty good padding and he doesn't complain at all, so it must be comfortable. It also has good ventilation, has been durable and fairly easy to get on and off. Snaps are hard to get apart sometimes, but that is better than them coming loose while he's playing. The best part of the helmet is the value. For the type of helmet and quality, this is an excellent value, highly recommended.

Cons: narrow fitting
I just got mine in the mail today right before I played. The helmet is very comfortable. However, the helmet seems to run pretty narrow on your head, I have a narrow head so it fits me perfectly. If you have a round/big head i'd suggest going up to a larger size then what you think. I've read a few other reviews saying this was a narrow fitting helmet and i went out of my way to make sure i let people know that. Other then that, it looks great, has great air flow and is lightweight. No complaints at all from me

Perfect size for my daughter

This is my daughter's first season in hockey. She is only 5 years old and on the smaller size. The rental equipment was still to big even for the youth size. We needed to buy her own gear. We found the easton stealth S7 in an XS and it fits perfectly. The adjustable size also helps with the fit. There is no extra play in the helmet and will last her 2 or 3 seasons. And by adjusting the chin straps through the cage the fit is just right. Definitely a good buy for the smaller hockey stars.
