one of the best skates i ever used,the breakin period is taxing,but after 6 open skates,had them baked,and they were alot more comfortable,and they were alot more enjoyable,very responsive,the forward lean takes a little to get used to esp if youre used to reebok,ccm etc,but for the money theres no better skate!!!!!

Bauer Vapor X:60 Skates
Pros: everything once you have broken them in.

I bought these skates around 4 months ago. At first I was somewhat disappointed due to the fit and comfort but everything worked itself out. These skates are absolutely fantastic. My only problems were at the beginning. The break-in period was longer than previous bauer skates that I have owned possibly due to the use of 100/75 FBV skate sharpening out of the box. I had to bake the skates twice to help with the fit because the to bumps above your heel that snug your foot in place were just a touch too low causing my feet to rub in a strange place only when I was on my outside edges. After consistent use and two separate bake sessions the bumps have changed shape just enough to feel terrific.
I can't say that they are extremely durable since I haven't had them long enough to give 5 stars but thus far I am impressed.
I skip the top eyelet so I can wrap the laces around the back but the lace seemed much too long for a size 10.5 causing me to use a rubber band to keep them down(not really a problem).
Value only gets 4 stars because they are expensive. However...when your looking for the best at the time you will shell out some cash.
All in all these skates are fantastic. I like a skate that pushes back just enough to really cut into the ice by being a stiff but not so stiff that if affects mobility and quick feet. Start/Stop, and accelerations are amazingly fast. Pair these with the Flat Bottom V cut when you sharpen them and you are ready to fly. Literally you will fly with these on, they are that fast!!!

Vapor X60
From day one these skates felt comfortable to wear. I was previously using the Bauer Supreme ONE80 skates, and I instantly preferred the X60's over my Supreme ONE80's when I first wore them. It may sound contradictory to say that the skates are extremely comfortable yet stiff, but the x60's really are that way.

Love these skates had them for a month now. Got them heat molded and they were broken in after 2 skates. I play 4 - 5 times a week and the stitching is starting to come undone a little around the toe cap and started developing a blister on my right heel from slippage the last to games. Love the skate even with little problems i have had. Previously had the graf 705's for 7 years prior and didn't want to get rid of them but had to when the outsole came off the skate. Must say though your quickness and agility does improve when changing from an older skate to a newer skate. The first step you notice most.
Only thing I modified in this skate was 1/8" heel spacer to get the forward lean i loved with the grafs.

I have played with the Vapor XX, XXX, XXXX and now the x:60 and I have not been disappointed. The x:60 skates are comfortable right out of the box; they are like slippers. They are not too stiff and are light enough to facilitate quick strides. I have been wearing mine since they first came out and have not been disappointed. They have been holding up much better than the XXXX as well. I would highly recommend this skate!

The X 60 skate in my opinion is the best skate out there. The skate is very durable and has a confortable fit. Most other skates on the market are not as durable and confortable as this skate. I highly suggest this product.

I got these skates in 4 months ago and I have never been happier with a pair of skates. Bauer has done a wonderful job with these ice skates and you can feel the quality in your first skate. The X60's have helped me skate faster and play better.

Got these about a month ago because my last Eastons were too big and giving me lace bite. Put these on an immediately skated a game and was surprised at the carving ability, comfort and speed the gave you out of turns, plus I could lace them up and they just wrapped around my foot. Great skate!
