Amazing Helmet
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
After wearing the same Bauer 4500 helmet for the past 15 years, i knew it was time for a new one. I was between the Bauer 5100 and the Reebok 8K. After thinking about it and trying them both on I decided to stick with Bauer since it has been a great helmet in the past. Very light and very comfortable. I really like being able to adjust the helmet on the go. I also just put on the new Torpso visor and it looks and fits great. I have read some of the other reviews on this helmet before purchasing but I actually think it is more comfortable than the Bauer 7500 and 9900. Not sure why maybe my head is different. I tried on the 7500 & 9900 and it just didn't feel like it fit right after trying the 5500 first. Overall I would recomend this helmet to anyone looking for a great protective helmet and not spending a ton of money.

I wore this helmet for a year, I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to spend top dollar just to look like Patrick Kane. After all you really don't need the helmet that's $200, just one that will protect and one that doesn't look like your going to the moon. This helmet is the one.

Great Helmet
Pros: Great value, Easy to use
Cons: features
Very nice looking helmet and surprisingly comfortable. The tool-free adjustment is simple to use. It is definitely more protective than the 4500 helmet, but go for the 5500 or higher for more comfort. The liner is a step below the 5500 and up, yet is still comfortable.

Solid Helmet
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
Cons: comfort could be better
The tool less adjustments come in handy when you need to make a quick fix. It is pretty comfortable, not as comfortable as the 7500 but it is much more comfortable then the 4500. Awesome protection for the price, but still not as good as the 5500/7500. It has great ventilation and the new hole in the front really helps out. Overall a solid helmet but if you are looking for more comfort and protection go with the 7500.
