I prefer cages to shields because they don't get scratched up and don't fog up either. This is the best mask on the market. The mid-level Bauer masks are good with the oval design, but the 9500 has even thinner and lighter bars. You can't tell you're wearing a mask after a couple minutes. Chrome finish looks great and isn't distracting at all, plus it prevent rust problems. I've used this cage for over two seasons now, love it.

This is a good cage. The wires are flattened in the front, so there is less to look through. Chin cup is comfortable.
