Skate fit is absolutely the most important "feature" of the skates. Heel lock is crucial; without that you will be fighting your skates at the expense of balance, speed, and agility. Grafs offer multiple "fits" for different feet.
The G35 fits a narrow, pronounced heel and a wider forefoot, which gives me the best fit I've ever had. The liner is thick and has a lot of cushion which makes it comfortable and helps take up negative space. It also comes with SIDAS moldable insoles, which require a special fitting machine, but again removes any negative space and makes the skates very comfortable.
The downsides are that the skate is heavier than others due to construction, and blocking shots will be more painful, but it should last a lot longer as the materials don't break down quickly.
Also, the skate has a forward pitch and 11' radius compared to others which are usually neutral pitch and 9-10' radius, so advanced skaters may want to have their sharpener match profiles when purchasing.

best skates I've ever owned, had lace bite on both legs with old Bauers, not an issue with the Graf-extra thick tongue offers great protection. No break in period and still look new after 5 years of use. I'm 44, play 2x/wk and may be last pair I buy, but at 399.99 I may buy another pair to keep on hand.

I bought these skates through total hockey and the purchase process was peaceful. The first pair I received was too narrow and I easily exchanged for the same skates with a Wider fit. Now the fit, comfort and performance is PERFECT!

These are easily the best skates I've ever used. In the 20ish years I've been playing hockey, I've been through my fair share of skates; never has a boot & blade impressed me so easily as these. I should've bought Graf skates sooner but never really wanted to spend big $$ on skates. I couldn't have been more mistaken. Buy the skates...your feet and your game will be better off for it.

Bought the ultra G-35's two years ago from
Total Hockey . net and can say enough good about the graf product. I had a terrible instep problem in my right foot. Once I started skating with Graf's and their custom orthotic the instep has corrected itself.

I no longer play hockey due to some injuries, but I still enjoy power skating and on occasion teaching kids at random on the ice or volunteering for the Special Olympics skating program.
These skates are the best I have ever worn. They can be heat molded to your foot are light weight and have held up well to my skating.
Graf and Total Hockey you both rock. !!!

Before i bought these skates i had a pair of Graf 609's that i got in 7th or 8th grade. They lasted me until i was 21. I decided to go all out with these skates as they are basically the best skates you can buy. I love them. They are extremely durable and will prob last me longer than my 609's. I am 23 right now playing at a high competitive level and through 2 years of abuse the skates are holding up great. The holders and runners are both fine and i havent had a problem where i have needed to replace anything. They have a aggressive forward angle to them which i like. They are also extremely light. You can bake the skates to your foot so there is literally no breaking in process at all (i suggest you take them to a local hockey store and have them do it if you dont know how to do it yourself otherwise you will destroy your new skates). If you want the best skates money can buy then these are great skates to own. These are more for experienced players since amateurs shouldnt be spending this much on skates unless they are playing more than 3-4 times a week. But skates are the most important piece of equipment. They are very expensive but in my opinion they are worth it. They are so comfortable once they are baked and i will never own anything other than Graf skates.
