Sold me on knee pads
Pros: Quality, Easy to use, Features, protection
Cons: Expensive
Thigh boards on my last 2 sets of pads, but my latest set came with lame thigh wrap. Left my knees open often. I tried some reebok knee pads, they moved around a ton, and left my knee open as well. Took a good shot center knee cap, ordered these as soon as I got home, sitting with ice on my knee. NO COMPARISON!! Pricey but well worth it. Warrior puts alot of thought and ingenuity into these. Sticky coating on the bottom strap to hold them in place, and Armadillo shell style overlaps, and your knees are always covered no matter the position. I have been playing with these for a couple months now, and have taken several shots off them, not so much as a stinger. A+ to Warrior. I am now taking a hard look at the Ritual Pro Pants.

Good protection but runs a little small
Pros: Quality, Easy to use
Cons: a little small for me
Probably the best designed and made knee pads of the four that that I have tried.
For me, however, the one size fits all runs a little small (I am 6'3), mainly the section that protects the actual knee. I think the knee "channel" could be larger to wrap more around the knee. At it is now it sits over the knee (rather than curving around the knee) and tends to shift and rub and be a little uncomfortable.
Still, they work and they seem to be well made (compared to the others that I have tried). Time will tell here.

does whats needed
Pros: Quality, Easy to use
so I must first say that I have never used an "inside the pant" thigh guard. with that being said, yes they feel slighty bulky, but I kinda like it. it gives me a little extra cushion when going into butterfly, and keeps my knee higher off the ice(less tension on my knees and hips).I never get that hard of shots on my thigh, but it protects my thigh well works well with the ritual pants and pads :)

Changed my Mind About Kneepads
Pros: Quality, Easy to use, Features, outstanding protection, mobility
Let me just say that I was never a fan of knee pads before I tried these. They always seemed bulky, slipped around a lot, and were always catching on my pants or pads.
Happily, Warrior has solved these problems and provided solid protection as well -- and just maybe some extra 5 hole coverage, don't tell the NHL.....
Designed and anchored on the leg in 3 pieces, they work together to make themselves nearly invisible. The lower piece is nicely padded but thinly tapered over the knee- no binding in the knee channel to affect pad rotation. The top piece is securely wrapped around the lower thigh. The innovative middle piece slides up and down to provide the maximum coverage when and where it is needed, especially sealing the top of the knee when in butterfly.
I have noticed absolutely no binding or interference with pads or pants. I wear them under my hockey socks, but you could wear them outside if desired. Honestly, once they are on with my pads strapped up I don't even notice them.
They also help close the knee gap in the 5 hole, especially for my skinny knees.
Took a 'B' league slapshot the other night off the top of the knee and was very happy I was wearing these guys. I can tell you from experience that they work!!
These also work perfectly with my new Warrior Ritual pro pants and pads. Only problems I would look out for are pads with very narrow knee channels (unless you wear them loose).

Nailed it
Pros: Easy to use, Features
Cons: only one color choice
Warrior nailed it on the design of these knee and thigh protectors.
Anyone that has taken a puck in the knee cap knows how important it is for protection to stay put and these do. they dont slide down when worn over compression pants. they flex and give awesome mobility. the Velcro is industrial strength and so is the elastic.
