Wood is good...
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
...still using wood after all these years. I break 'em, but no more frequently than composites break, and it doesn't cost a bill and a half to replace. What I really like about them is that I can shave the handle, I find that to be a huge advantage. What I would like to see is just a little more variety/access. I've been using the Ryan PP only because I have been unable to find the Bouchard PP anywhere in the Chicagoland area for the past 2 years.

Awesome stick
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use, iconic, respectable
Personally, I like composite sticks, especially Eastons, but this is the most reliable stick I own. They are cheap and EXTREMELY light. Everytime one of these breaks (it takes a long time) I go get a new one. Honestly, if I had to play against the devil for my life, I would use this stick over any other, hands down.

Old Time Hockey
This stick has been around forever, countless NHL players have used it, countless goals have been scored with it, and it's still being produced today. That alone counts for something. The stick delivers good shot power, and all around decent performance. The shaft itself is very thick and bulky however, which is somewhat of a hindrance. It's a good stick to use for practice, since it can essentially function as a weighted stick. This is a classic stick, but do yourself a favor and spend the extra 4$ on the Sher-Wood 7000, you won't regret it.

Perfect outdoor stick
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, Easy to use, Features
I play in a variety of arenas, but mainly I skate at the outdoor rink by my house, which does not have a very forgiving surface on your blade. I realized it'd be a waste to use a nice composite stick out there cause it wouldn't last one week. This Sher-wood stick stacks up to the punishment of slapshots on the pavement, and toe drags on the asphalt. Sure, eventually it will wear down, but for the price, get a couple of 'em

cant beat it
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Easy to use
I have been using composite sticks for over 5 years now and after breaking 2 in a month i decided to pick up a 5030 as a backup stick. the puck feel is incredible i love the flex on these woodies too, the flex point is wherever your bottom hand is and they can deliver some bombs from the blueline. you adjust to the added weight after 5 minutes and the feel is quite balanced. im not saying im going to ditch my ccm crazy light for this, but for the price and the quality you get, i might just consider it. definately have your kids learn on these, its cheap and will help them learn the basics without the stick doing all the work.

Wood can still be good
Pros: Helped improve my game, Great value, Quality, durable
One of the best wood sticks I've ever used, and you can't beat the price. It's pretty light for wood, though it feels a little stiffer than a 85 flex. It still has a good whip to it. The length is perfect for a player my size (5'10"). I've had it for almost 6 months and it's held up well to weekly pick-up games (that get pretty rough) and almost nightly stickhandling and shooting practice on a skillpad/shooting board as well as on asphalt. I get a good feel for the puck while stick handling, and my shot is fairly accurate. My current stick has the Stastny curve, which is a little more open face than I prefer. I wish it was available in the Iginla or Bouchard curve. I'm still debating on whether to move up to composite, but if I continue to use wood, this is definitely the stick I'd go with again.

Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Easy to use, just as light as composite
Cons: if you break it..its done
this stick in my opinion is better than the composite sticks that i use and have used. its just as light and the durability is the same. if your playing street or ice i highly recomend this stick.
