Bauer Total One NXG Composite Shaft

The Bauer Supreme TotalOne NXG Composite Shafts key role is to allow you to take the hardest and heaviest shots possible without the stick buckling under the pressure. The TotalOne NXG features an amplified mid kick, which is engineered to give maximum energy output with minimal effort. The lower shaft remains stiff while the middle is much softer, creating a stick with an easy load for quicker shots. The shaft is protected by eLasTech Technology (available in intermediate and senior sticks only), which reduces the spread of micro-fractures caused by regular wear and tear, letting the NXG keep that new feeling much longer. The hosel is constructed using the Supreme Power Shaft taper, which makes the hosel area thicker to better work with the mid shaft amplified kick. This optimizes energy transfer and keeps the blade aligned for the accuracy that you want. The lower part of the shaft is also covered with the Tac-Spiral grip; this will give you a better connection with the stick, even during high-stress shooting situations. The shaft remains lightweight yet strong with its carbon fiber construction, known as TeXtreme Technology. This reduces weight without sacrificing the strength of the shaft. With the TotalOne NXG, Bauer is again, flexing their design and engineering prowess to give you one of the best combinations of lightweight power and durability available.

Still the best but...
Cons: tac-spiral grip
Long time user of Bauer supreme sticks, one-pieces for ice, two-pieces for roller. I use a Nexus 1000 for ice now but was exited for the NXG to replace my old total one for roller. Performance is awesome as expected but the tac-spiral grip is so awful it's almost unbearable. It's so promenant that I swear it grinds into your hand by the end of a game. Just an awful feel. I don't know what Bauer was thinking, no one needs grip like that. I'm thinking about trying to file it off.
