Reebok 16K Grip Composite Stick

Standing near the middle of the SicKick line is the Reebok 16K SicKick 4 Grip Composite Stick. Offering great performance at a great price, youll find plenty of innovating features with the 16K stick. The 16K is a one-piece fused carbon composite stick that features Reeboks Dual Matrix II construction. The Dual Matrix II is a process that uses fibers angled at 45 degrees on the backhand and 90 degrees on the forehand that causes a sibling rivalry and a lot of tension between the two. This tension is put into action during shot loading, creating a slingshot-like effect during the release of a puck for absolute dangerous shots.Getting down to the blade of the 16K youll find Reeboks Accublade technology. The Accublade practically eliminates the amount of blade deflection, or the twisting or opening of the blade while shooting, improving blade control and pinpoint shooting accuracy. The 16K is equipped with some of Reeboks most advanced and innovative features. Youll do nothing less than dangle and snipe all game long.

I bought this stick to replace a 14k model that had broken from a slash. I got the 16k and was extremely happy with it initially. I could definitely feel a difference from the 14k model and loved the stick. After just a couple of games it started getting really beat up. I think I have only had it now for about 10 - 12 games and the toe is cracked and the heel is crumbling. At this point I do not think I can use it anymore as I can feel the toe bending and starting to peel every time I put any pressure on it. Not sure how the toe cracked, I just noticed it before a game when I was re-taping my stick. I am also unsure of how the heel is cracking up. I do not abuse my sticks, but I do make the occasional stick tap on the ice calling for the puck. This should not cause the stick to start falling apart however. My 14k stick seemed to be much more durable, it only broke from what I would consider to be a good reason. Maybe I just got a bad stick, I don't know, but check out the pics for reference.

Great Middle of the Line Stick
Pros: Great value, Quality, Easy to use
Cons: a little heavy
The Reebok 16K is a great hockey stick for what you're spending, it isn't the best stick on the market, but for $99 i couldnt resist pickin one up. The night i got the stick i used it and the puck handeling and shooting was very much better than what i thought it would be. It is pretty light weight and very durable. For the price of the stick you cant beat it.
