CCM RBZ OPS Grip Composite Stick

Strap a rocket to the puck with the CCM RBZ powered by TaylorMade. CCM teamed up with world-renowned golf club manufacturer TaylorMade to bring their cutting-edge technology to the sport of hockey. Drawing from the proprietary RocketBallz golf technology, CCM has eliminated foam from the core of the blade and replaced it with SpeedBlade Technology. Foam absorbs velocity from your shot; SpeedBlade Technology replaces foam with four internal speed channels. These channels transfer energy more efficiently and help to increase the velocity of your shot while maintaining control and durability. In the world of golf, TaylorMade Golf also introduced the Coefficient of Restitution. Also known as the trampoline effect, the principles of the C.O.R. have been used in TaylorMade drivers for quite some time. In laymens terms, this translates to a blade that releases stored energy upon impact, resulting in harder passes and heavier shots. Eliminating energy-loss maximizes puck speed and truly places the RBZ in a class of its own. Advancements in shaft design have resulted in what is known as Power Swing Technology. This provides a finer weight and flex distribution, giving you more torque on your follow-through and a quicker release. The constant stiffness of the shaft gives you a customized kick-point for optimal loading. The RBZ was designed for the player who wants to fire an accurate shot that will blow a hole in the back of the net.Dont just shoot the puck. Drive it.

Good Overall Stick
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Features
Cons: can be tough getting used to
as a 16 year old player in the USHL, I had a hard time dropping this much for a stick. I dont regret it. Overall, I feel like my shot is harder than before, but I have trouble stickhandling like i could with my total one. I'm assuming that it just takes getting used to, so I cant judge quickly. But it is a very nice new stick and I would reccomend it if you have the money.

Worth the money
Pros: Helped improve my game, Quality, Easy to use, Features
Cons: Expensive
I was skeptical about paying this much for a stick. I've been a fan of TaylorMade Golf for years. I've never owned anything but Easton hockey sticks. I decided to drop the money on this based on TaylorMade's reputation they've had with me. I read all the reviews and hype about this stick. Trying to be biased without going into the placebo affect is hard. This stick lives up to the hype. The puck does seem to come off the stick quicker. I feel the shaft flex in my hand no matter where I hold it. The blade feels great when handling the puck. The shaft is coated with a real grippy material and is taking some getting used too. I will be buying another one soon.

I was skeptical when I first bought the stick, but after one game I was sold. The shaft does change depening on where you position your hands. The 4 channels in the blade versus the foam core give the you better puck feel, similar to a wood blade, but doesn't make the stick blade heavy like wood does. The only complaint I have so far is the toe on blade has chipped some, but I haven't found a composite stick that doesn't chip here under play. If you have money to burn buy one of these.

Awesome New Technology in the Stick Market
Pros: Helped improve my game, Easy to use, Features, new technology!
This stick is amazing. CCM partnering up with Taylormade is just awesome. The technology they put in this stick really makes it worth ever penny! I personally believe that I feel the puck better on this stick then any other! I just wish theyd make an all white stick or mostly white :)
